Barcelona was selected as the team of the year by our blog. They won both the Champions League cup and La Liga.
They seem to be unbeatable and there isn't any team that could struggle with them. Congratulations to Barcelona and fans.

Tugay retires

When Tugay was decided to leave Galatasaray after they won the UEFA cup, many people were angry at him. But he dediced to take his carreer to Europe and enjoy his football
thanks to God he went to Europe cause if he had stayed in Turkey we would never know what he is capable of. First he went to Scotland spent a few years in Glasgow Rangers then he was transferred to most challenging league on earth : Premier League. He played over ten years in Blackburn. He became a legend in club and ended his carreer at this weekend. It was quite dramatic both for Tugay and Blackburn fans and now Tugay took his place in Blackburn Fans hearts.

Ronaldinho set to move to Fenerbahçe?

As the Turkish Super League ended, big transfer speculations started to take place in the front row of Turkish media.Latest new I heard about is that Ronaldinho -most talented player in the world according to me- is going to play for Fenerbahçe next year. It's a great news for all Fenerbahçe and Turkish football fans an opportunity to see the greatest player with your own eyes. But considering Turkish Media's dislike to real news this transfer could be another made up from our sport media.

Followers of Bundesliga(German Football League) has been witnesses of a miracle. Before I say what that miracle is I want to give brief information about Bundesliga. Every year favorite candidate of championship is Bayern Munchen and a rival for Bayern Munchen from other 3 strong teams Hertha Berlin, Werder Bremen and Schalke 04. And usually the result is Bayern Munchen gets the cup and others nothing. But this year Wolfsburg did what said to be impossible and became the champion. At the beginning of the year Wolfsburg was not even considered one of the teams that can compete for league cup in media predictions. Congratulations to Wolfsburg and its brave and proud Players,Coaches and Fans.

Star From Usa?

Beşiktaş's chairman Yıldırım Demirören announced that they are looking for a new football star from USA. How great is that? According to most people MLS is the most challenging league in the world. Too many great players played and trained there. For example David Beckham, he is a young star and he is in USA just because he wants play football not for money not for anything. And in USA soccer is like a religion everybody plays soccer and football is like the #1 sport in USA. So for Beşiktaş it's a very smart thing to buy a player from USA . They will spend club's whole budget for a star from USA and hopefully we will be witnesses of the greatest performance(!) in Turkish Super League.

Big Derby at the Weekend

Derby Weekend


There's a derby at this weekend, between Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe, two of the oldest clubs in Turkey. On one side Beşiktaş chasing championship, on one side Fenerbahçe far away from even claiming the cup. So it seems like Beşiktaş is going to win. Everyone thinks Beşiktaş will absolutely have a landslide victory.

But I'm writing this article to clarify one thing about derbys, it's unpredictable. This has been proved over and over last years. The team that is pointed as the front runner before the game, usually relaxes and they think the rival is weak and usually because of this they lose points at
derbys. So Beşiktaş management should warn their players against complacency before the game and keep their minds focused on the championship ambition.

And a last note: as you all know the last derby between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe was a disaster for Turkish football, the fight that came out of nowhere and then the fans were provoked after that fight, a lot of people encountered smash danger. People were crammed in stadium and many people could have been dead in that incident. In this derby to avoid this kind of awfulness Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe managements should be very careful while making a press statement they must be friendly so the fans will follow them and we can see a derby without blood.

The striker of the Fiorentina is currently having a great time in his club, he already scored 12 goals in 16 matches and fans are satisfied by his performance. It seems like everything goes well for Fiorentina in this season after last year's disaster performance. Fiorentina fans are enthusiastic about the Serie A title.
